The Carlisle Public Schools is always willing to except donations as outlined in the Carlisle Public Schools’ Gift and Loan Policy.The Technology Department reserves the right to adjust these guidelines without notice as our needs change. The Technology Department has established the following parameters for the type of equipment that it is willing to accept.
Desktop Computers:
Apple iMac/eMac G4/GS/Intel processors 1000MHz or higher
Laptop Computers:
Apple laptop G4/Intes processors 1000MHz or higher
Monitors:
Flat panel displays are welcome. The school is no longer accepting CRT monitors.
Printers:
Only laser printers with network cards.
Peripheral Devices:
Any devices with a firewire or USB connection, such as external hard drives, DVD burners and iPods.
Media Devices:
The school could use a few more DVD players or VHS/DVD combos. Optimally they should have a working remote control and an instruction booklet.
